Delete your HairProof data
HairProof has no accounts — your data is linked to an anonymous device identifier. You can permanently erase everything we store about your device, straight from the app.
Delete inside HairProof (instant)
- Open HairProof and go to the Settings tab.
- Tap "Delete my data".
- Confirm — your photos and scan history are erased from our servers immediately, and the app resets.
Request deletion by email
If you can no longer access the app, email us with the device identifier shown in the app's Settings screen (we hold no name or email for you, so this is the only way we can locate your data). If you don't have the identifier, tell us and we will advise on options.
Request data deletionWhat will be deleted
All scalp photos stored on our servers, your full scan history (scores, observations, summaries) and the association with your device identifier. Locally stored data (quiz answers, routine history, alignment photos) is removed from your device by the in-app deletion. Encrypted backups expire on their normal rotation.
What may be retained
Limited records may be retained when required for legal, fraud-prevention or dispute-resolution purposes. Any retained information remains protected and is not used for marketing.
